Doing it Agan...

I found wjile at home with a sick kid, I could sit and blog.. yeah so much fun and excitement! So the kids are back in school! Thank heavens! I was beyond ready for them to go back.. I almost have the house under control... but hey.. we are a functioning family, and as long as there are clean dishes, and clean towels to take showers with... I feel like I am fairing pretty good!
The kids are doing GREAT! Rebecka is in the 6th grade.. I know where does the time go!? McKayla is loving the 4th grade and Hailey is floating through life as usual, head in the clouds and not a worry in sight in the 3rd grade. Becky and Hailey are both in combo classes... not the ideal situation, but thats what you got to deal with when you hand pick the teachers. I know both are very capable of succeeding!
Gilbert has been home for 2 weeks now.. its so nice to see him every night! He spent some time down in San Diego and then a couple weeks in Vegas...

So recap on Summer!... The kids took a road trip to LA and were able to meet some of Gilberts family... they took thier first plane ride.. and went out of state for the first time. They were blessed enough to go on one of Daddy's plane rides, to drop him off in Las Vegas. They were able to fly the plane (For like 30 seconds) on the way back.. of course that meant sitting in the cockpit... and then they slept most of the time! They were able to "see" the strip... maybe next time we will be able to stay with Dad for a little bit when he goes!

Well, thats pretty much it for now.. got to get back to posting videos on the kids ASL Choir page...if I remember how to, I will try and post some here when they get back from Great America!

I am Proud to Be an American

Tanya taught me how to post video and pictures!! Look at this!! Beware: Tissues come in handy!

This was a performance the kids did for The Eagles, in Santa Maria California. Its amazing how a song can move you and a whole room full of others. I AM proud to be an American, and I know that I am Free and NO ONE can take that away! My gratitude goes out to those that have served, and those currently serving. Thank you. Thank you.

OK, I need someone to help me...anyone??How do you post pictures nd how in the hell did I end up with 2?!!?
Things going on with us:
McKayla has been assessed and offered to go to the 4th grade, however, when she said yes, everyone else said "Are you sure??" So, the people pleaseing child she is, she is going to stay in 3rd grade, and do 4th grade work. So knows she is smart, and she says it will all be alright sooner or later.
Rebecka is working on her State Report... She got Montana! She is learning what research is all about and hating EVERY second of it!
Hailey, well , what else do you say about her? She loves school and loves life, and I think her head is so far in the clouds she has no clue there is mud on the ground!

Gilbert is home finnally, andit looks like he might be home for a little while! YEAH us, not so great for the pocket book... But we enjoy having him as long as work will let us keep him.

Me, work is a pain in the neck,.... Its tough, they changed our hours in San Miguel, so i am only wokring 4 hours in San Miguel in the afternoon and 4 hours in the morning in Paso.

So thats it thats happening right about now!
